The leather of the upper has been entirely hand finished, paying particular attention to the final polishing, beeswax was used to give the patina effect on the toe and heel. The shape of the shoe is slightly rotated to accompany the natural progression of the foot. The hand-finished leather sole, with an “L” welt, helps to waterproof the shoe in case of rain.
